Privacy Policy

Effective 3 August 2026 Version 1.1

OneScope Intelligence (“the Company”) collects one thing from this site: the email address you give us to join the beta waitlist. This policy explains what is collected, why, how long it is kept, who else touches it and how you can have it removed.

1. What we collect

There is no account and no login. The only form on this site is the beta waitlist.

CategoryItemsHow
Required Email address, and a record that you consented Entered by you in the waitlist form
Auto-collected IP address, browser User-Agent, submission language, date and time Recorded by the server at the moment you submit
Generated A random unsubscribe token, and whether the confirmation email was sent Created by the server so your unsubscribe link works

We do not ask for your name, your employer or anything else. IP address and User-Agent are used only to stop automated and repeated abuse of the form; they are not used to profile or track you.

2. Why we use it

  • To send you OneScope product news while the beta is being built
  • To send you an invitation on the day the beta opens
  • To stop spam and repeated abusive submissions (IP address, User-Agent)

We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising or for any purpose beyond the list above. If that ever changes we will ask for your consent first.

3. How long we keep it

We keep your email address for as long as you stay subscribed.

When you unsubscribe we stop emailing you immediately, and we keep your email address together with the date you unsubscribed. That record exists so that a later mailing cannot reach you by mistake. It is never used to contact you. If you would rather we erased it completely, ask us and we will.

IP address and User-Agent are kept alongside the signup record and are destroyed with it. Electronic records are deleted by a method that makes them irrecoverable.

4. Who else processes it

Confirmation and newsletter emails are delivered through Microsoft Azure Communication Services. Your email address and the message content pass through that service so it can be delivered.

  • Processor: Microsoft
  • Purpose: delivering email on our behalf

Apart from that, submissions are stored on infrastructure the Company operates and are not handed to anyone else. We do not provide personal data to third parties, except where you have given separate consent or where a statute or a warrant issued under due process requires it.

5. Your rights

You can at any time ask to see the data we hold about you, have it corrected, have it deleted, or have us stop processing it. You can also withdraw your consent, which we treat as a deletion request.

The fastest route is the unsubscribe link at the bottom of every email we send. It works in one click and needs no reply from us.

For anything else, write to [email protected]. We act without delay and reply within 10 days of receiving your request. We check that the request comes from the person the data belongs to, or from a duly authorised agent, before acting on it.

6. How we protect it

  • We collect as little as possible. One email address, no name, no free-text field
  • Access is restricted. Only authorised staff can reach the admin console, and its address is not published
  • Abuse is throttled. Submissions from one IP address are limited to five per hour, and a hidden field rejects bots
  • Traffic is encrypted. Public deployments are served over HTTPS

7. Cookies

This site loads no advertising and no analytics trackers. It sets only what it needs to work.

  • csrftoken: blocks forged form submissions. Without it the waitlist form cannot be sent
  • sessionid: issued only when a member of staff signs in to the admin console. Ordinary visitors never receive it

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The waitlist form will not submit without the CSRF cookie.

8. Where the data is handled

Signup records are stored on infrastructure the Company operates. Email delivery is handled by the processor named in section 4. Your data is not moved outside the systems described in this policy.

Wherever it is handled, the same standard applies: the items in section 1, for the purposes in section 2, for no longer than section 3 allows.

9. Who to contact

The Company designates the following point of contact for personal data processing and for complaints and remedy requests.

10. If you are not satisfied

Please raise it with us first at [email protected]. We would rather fix it directly, and it is usually faster.

If our answer does not resolve it, you can complain to the data protection authority with jurisdiction where you live. Tell us which authority you have approached and we will respond to them directly and keep you copied.

11. Changes to this policy

If this policy is amended, the effective date and a summary of what changed will be posted on this page at least seven days before the change takes effect. Where a change materially affects your rights, we will give at least thirty days’ notice and, where the law requires it, ask for your consent again.
